When it comes to getting sufficient amounts of sleep each night, I am my own worst enemy. Whethers it's 2am and I have to be up at 6 or 11pm with an alarm set for 9, I constantly fall victim to the tight grasp of YouTube and Twitter. Countless hours of sleep have been lost since I gained convenient access to these social media outlets with the help of my iPhone. I have noticed that many YouTube ads are for meditation apps like HeadSpace and Calm. For the next week, I intend to substitute searching through social media with the Calm app. My goal is to document how replacing videos and tweets with simple meditations before bedtime affects my sleep schedule and how I feel the next day after I wake up!
