SELF CARE IS NOT ALWAYS EASY

My Spring 2019 semester was the hardest semester I've had in college and I thank a higher power that I managed to survive and that it is over forever. Between the cold weather and heavy workload, I rarely found time for myself which became a part of my daily routine. I lost interest in extracurriculars that I loved and the best part-time job I've ever had. When summer began, it was incredibly easy to keep up with this because I kept self care out of my routine for quite some time.
I know this post may not include too much insight, but I wanted to remind everyone that something so simple, such as getting an extra hour of sleep or eating breakfast, can have positive effects that can make a big difference!
