I decided to dedicate a great deal of time to deep further into fixing my sleep schedule. I knew that I would need more than a week to receive proper results from the Calm app, but also my own personal efforts. My goal with the app was to receive around 8 solid hours of sleep per night. My body is used to receiving only 5 or 6 a night, which barely gets me through the following day.

The Calm app offers a series of resources to help you meditate before you sleep and calm down before you turn the lights off. However, BE PREPARED TO SPEND MONEY. Many of the features of the app come with a price. A yearly subscription if offered for a price of $70.00. Take that as you will...

I was able to unlock some free trials of features such as quick meditation guidance and calming background sounds. The techniques were somewhat helpful, but I found myself wanting to play on my phone after and getting distracted by notifications.

I consider this trial a bust, but I am determined to find other methods that work!
